Growing up, I always loved art; whether it be making art or learning about it, I found a true passion for the visual language of our world. These days, I am continuing my passion for art through both scholarly education and professional endeavors. My philosophy in teaching is to ensure that my students gain an intuitive understanding. Rather than route memorization, I believe that the most effective way to learn is through reason and logic. Whether the student is studying a quantitative subject or working on qualitative work, they should understand the reasons behind why something is right or wrong. Therefore, while I tailor my teaching to individual learning styles, my underlying philosophy in learning remains constant.
